But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief comes, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be dug through.

And if he should come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.

He alone spreads out the heavens, and treads upon the waves of the sea;

The streams have lifted up, O Jehovah, the streams have lifted up their sound; the streams lift up their waves.

Jehovah on high is mightier than the sound of many waters, than the mighty breakers of the sea.

who lays the beams of His upper chambers in the waters, who makes the clouds His chariot, who walks on the wings of the wind,

And He saw them straining at rowing, for the wind was against them. And about the fourth watch of the night He came to them, walking on the sea, and would have passed them by.

So when they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and drawing near the boat; and they were afraid.

And he had a little book open in his hand. And he set his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land,

And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised up his hand to Heaven

And the voice which I heard from Heaven spoke to me again and said, Go, take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea and on the earth.
