But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to the disciples, Sit here while I go and pray over there.

And when He had sent them away, He departed into the mountain to pray.

Now it came to pass in those days that He went out into the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.

but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the Word.

Therefore when Jesus perceived that they were about to come and take Him by force to make Him king, He withdrew again to the mountain by Himself alone.

got into the boat, and went across the sea toward Capernaum. And it was already dark, and Jesus had not come to them.
