If one of your brethren becomes poor, and has sold some of his possession, and if his redeeming relative comes to redeem it, then he may redeem what his brother sold.

Or if the man has no one to redeem it, but he himself becomes able to redeem it,

And he shall bring his trespass offering unto Jehovah, a ram that is whole from the flock, with your valuation, as a trespass offering, to the priest.

And the priest shall make atonement for him before Jehovah, and he shall be forgiven for any of these things that he has done in which he is guilty.

The trespass offering is like the sin offering; there is one law for them both: it is for the priest who makes atonement with it.
