And Jehovah God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed.

And a river went out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it divided and became four heads.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that brings forth its fruit in its season, and its leaf shall not wither, and all that he does shall prosper.

Let those who persecute me be ashamed, but do not let me be put to shame; let them be dismayed, but do not let me be dismayed. Bring upon them the day of evil, and destroy them with double destruction.

The trees of Jehovah are full, the cedars of Lebanon which He planted,

I will plant the cedar in the wilderness, the acacia tree, and the myrtle, and the oil tree. I will set the fir tree in the desert, and the pine, and the box tree together;

The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fat and luxuriant;

Behold, Assyria was like a cedar in Lebanon, with fine branches that shaded the forest, and of high stature; and its top was among the thick boughs.

The waters made it grow; the depths gave it height, with their rivers running around the place where it was planted, and sent out rivulets to all the trees of the field.

And along the banks of the river, on this side and that, will grow all kinds of trees used for food; their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. They will bear fruit every month, because their water flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for healing.
