And Pharaoh sent and summoned Moses and Aaron, and said to them, I have sinned this time. Jehovah is righteous, and I and my people are wicked.

And Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron in haste, and said, I have sinned against Jehovah your God and against you.

Now therefore, please forgive my sin only this once, and entreat Jehovah your God, that He may take away from me this death only.

And Saul said to Samuel, I have sinned, for I have transgressed the mouth of Jehovah and your words, because I feared the people and heeded their voice.

And he said, I have sinned; yet honor me now, please, before the elders of my people and before Israel, and return with me, that I may bow down before Jehovah your God.

And he said to David: You are more righteous than I; for you have rewarded me with good, whereas I have rewarded you with evil.

And David said to Nathan, I have sinned against Jehovah. And Nathan said to David, Jehovah also has put away your sin; you shall not die.

For has anyone said to the Mighty God, I have endured; I will offend no more;

teach me what I do not see; if I have done injustice, I will do no more?

When He killed them, then they sought after Him; and they returned and sought earnestly for the Mighty God.

saying, I have sinned by betraying innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? You see to it.

And he threw down the pieces of silver in the temple and departed, and went and hanged himself.

And God said to Balaam, You shall not go with them; you shall not curse the people, for they are blessed.

Now the people murmured, and it was evil in the ears of Jehovah; for Jehovah heard it, and His anger burned. And the fire of Jehovah burned among them, and consumed those in the outskirts of the camp.

And this thing caused the eye of God to quiver; therefore He struck Israel.

lest Jehovah see it, and it displease Him, and He turns away His wrath from him.
