and strip Aaron of his garments and put them on Eleazar his son; for Aaron shall be gathered to his people and die there.

And Aaron the priest went up to Mount Hor at the mouth of Jehovah, and died there in the fortieth year after the children of Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, on the first day of the fifth month.

And the king of Arad, the Canaanite, who dwelt in the south in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.

They set out from Zalmonah and camped at Punon.

They set out from Oboth and camped at Ije Abarim, at the border of Moab.

They set out from Dibon Gad and camped at Almon Diblathaim.

They set out from the mountains of Abarim and camped in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, across from Jericho.

And the holy garments of Aaron shall be his sons' after him, to be anointed in them and to confirm their hands in them.

That son who becomes priest in his place shall put them on for seven days, when he enters the tent of meeting to minister in the holy place.

Let Jehovah the God of the spirits of all flesh, appoint a man over the congregation,

And Jehovah said to Moses: Take Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the Spirit, and lay your hand upon him;

And you shall ascribe some of your majesty upon him, that all the congregation of the children of Israel may be obedient.

So Moses did as Jehovah commanded him. He took Joshua and made him stand before Eleazar the priest and before all the congregation.

And Moses called to Joshua and said to him in the eyes of all Israel, Be strong and of good courage, for you shall go with this people into the land which Jehovah has sworn to their fathers to give to them, and you shall cause them to inherit it.

And Jehovah, He is going before you. He will be with you; He will not abandon you nor forsake you. Do not fear nor be dismayed.

And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the Spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him; so the children of Israel heeded him, and did as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

Now, my son, may Jehovah be with you; and may you prosper, and build the house of Jehovah your God, as He has spoken concerning you.

Only may Jehovah give you wisdom and understanding, and give you charge concerning Israel, to keep the Law of Jehovah your God.

David also commanded all the rulers of Israel to help Solomon his son, saying,

And of all my sons (for Jehovah has given me many sons) He has chosen my son Solomon to sit on the throne of the kingdom of Jehovah, over Israel.

Moreover I will establish his kingdom forever, if he prevails to do My commandments and My judgments, as it is this day.

As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind; for Jehovah searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.

And behold now, I know that you all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, will see my face no more.

For I have not shrunk back from declaring to you the whole counsel of God.

For I know this, that after my departure vicious wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.

Moreover I will be careful to ensure that you always have a reminder of these things after my departure.

And Aaron the priest went up to Mount Hor at the mouth of Jehovah, and died there in the fortieth year after the children of Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, on the first day of the fifth month.

Aaron was one hundred and twenty-three years old when he died on Mount Hor.

(Now the children of Israel journeyed from the wells of the sons of Jaakan to Moserah, where Aaron died, and where he was buried; and Eleazar his son served as priest in his place.

Go up into this mountain of Abarim, Mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, across from Jericho; view the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the children of Israel as a possession;

and die on the mountain which you ascend, and be gathered to your people, even as Aaron your brother died on Mount Hor and was gathered to his people;

So Moses the servant of Jehovah died there in the land of Moab, according to the mouth of Jehovah.

But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood.

Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He lives forever to make intercession for them.
