Take the staff; you and your brother Aaron gather the congregation together. Speak to the rock before their eyes, and it shall produce water; thus you shall bring water for them out of the rock, and give drink to the congregation and their cattle.

And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, each took his censer and put fire in it, put incense on it, and offered strange fire before Jehovah, which He had not commanded them.

And Samuel came to Saul, and Saul said to him, Blessed are you of Jehovah! I have carried out the Word of Jehovah.

And Samuel said, What then is this bleating of the sheep in my ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?

Why then have you not obeyed the voice of Jehovah? Why did you swoop down upon the spoils, and do evil in the eyes of Jehovah?

And Saul said to Samuel, I have sinned, for I have transgressed the mouth of Jehovah and your words, because I feared the people and heeded their voice.

and he cried out to the man of God who had come from Judah, saying, Thus says Jehovah: Because you have disobeyed the Word of Jehovah, and have not kept the commandment with which Jehovah your God has charged you,

So it was, after he had eaten bread and after he had drunk, that he saddled the donkey for him, the prophet whom he had brought back.

And when they came to the threshing floor of Chidon, Uzza put out his hand to take hold of the ark, for the oxen had fallen.

And the anger of Jehovah burned against Uzza, and He struck him because he had put his hand on the ark; and he died there before God.

Then David said, No one may carry the ark of God but the Levites, for Jehovah has chosen them to carry the ark of God and to serve before Him continually.

For because you did not do it the first time, Jehovah our God has burst out against us, because we had not inquired of Him concerning the ordinance.

teaching them to observe all things whatever I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.

for the wrath of man does not bring about the righteousness of God.

Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock in Horeb; and you shall strike the rock, and water will come out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so before the eyes of the elders of Israel.

who led you through the great and terrible wilderness, with the fiery serpents and scorpions and thirsty land with no water; who has brought water for you out of the rock of flint;

I have known you in the wilderness, in the land of great drought.

and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank out of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ.
