For I am Jehovah your God. You shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and you shall be holy; for I am holy. Neither shall you defile yourselves with any swarming thing that swarms on the earth.

For I am Jehovah who brings you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God. You shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.

Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say to them: You shall be holy, for I Jehovah your God am holy.

For God did not call us to impurity, but in sanctification.

but as He who called you is holy, you also become holy in all conduct,

because it is written, Be holy, because I am holy.
