but you shall appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of the Testimony, over all its furnishings, and over all things that belong to it; they shall carry the tabernacle and all its furnishings; they shall serve for it and camp around the tabernacle.

And they shall keep his charge and the charge of the whole congregation before the tent of meeting, to do the service of the tabernacle.

They shall keep your charge and the charge of all the tent; but they shall not come near the vessels of the sanctuary and the altar, that they not die; they and you also.

Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.

Attend to these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all.

Preach the Word. Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.

And Moses said to Aaron, and to Eleazar and Ithamar, his sons, Do not uncover your heads nor tear your clothes, that you not die, and wrath come upon all the people. But let your brethren, the whole house of Israel, bewail the burning which Jehovah has kindled.

And He struck the men of Beth Shemesh, because they had looked into the ark of Jehovah. He struck fifty thousand and seventy men of the people, and the people mourned because Jehovah had struck the people with a great slaughter.

The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their own power; and my people love to have it so, and what will you do in the end?

Therefore thus says Jehovah of Hosts concerning the prophets: Behold, I will feed them wormwood, and make them drink bitter water; for godlessness has gone forth from the prophets of Jerusalem into all the land.

Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves.

And they shall keep his charge and the charge of the whole congregation before the tent of meeting, to do the service of the tabernacle.

And they shall have charge of all the utensils of the tent of meeting, and the charge of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.

This is what applies to the Levites: From twenty-five years old and above one shall enter to go forth to serve in the service of the tent of meeting;

They shall minister with their brethren in the tent of meeting, to keep the charge, but they shall not serve in any service. Thus you shall do to the Levites concerning their charge.

They shall keep your charge and the charge of all the tent; but they shall not come near the vessels of the sanctuary and the altar, that they not die; they and you also.

And you shall keep the charge of the sanctuary and the charge of the altar, that there be no more wrath upon the children of Israel.

And from the children of Israel's half you shall take one of every fifty, of man, from the cattle, the donkeys, and the sheep, from all the livestock; and give them to the Levites who keep charge of the tabernacle of Jehovah.

From the children of Israel's half Moses took one of every fifty, from man and beast, and gave them to the Levites, who kept charge of the tabernacle of Jehovah, as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

and that they should keep the charge of the tent of meeting, the charge of the holy place, and the charge of the sons of Aaron their brethren in the service of the house of Jehovah.

But as for us, Jehovah is our God, and we have not forsaken Him; and the priests who serve Jehovah are the sons of Aaron, and the Levites in their service.
