And I said, Where are you going? And he said to me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its breadth and what is its length.

And, behold, the angel who talked with me went out, and another angel went out to meet him,

and said to him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem will be inhabited like unwalled villages, for the multitude of men and livestock in her midst.

For I will be to her a wall of fire all around, and I will be the glory in her midst, declares Jehovah.

Ho! Ho! Flee from the land of the north, says Jehovah; for I have scattered you as the four winds of the heavens, declares Jehovah.

O Zion! Escape, you who live with the daughter of Babylon.

For thus says Jehovah of Hosts: He has sent Me after glory to the nations who plundered you; for he who touches you touches the pupil of His eye.

For, behold, I will shake My hand over them, and they shall be spoils for their servants. And you shall know that Jehovah of Hosts has sent Me.
10
Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion. For, lo, I come; and I will dwell in your midst, says Jehovah.
11
And many nations shall be joined to Jehovah in that day, and they shall be My people. And I will dwell in your midst; and you shall know that Jehovah of Hosts has sent Me to you.
12
And Jehovah shall take possession of Judah, His portion in the holy land, and shall again choose Jerusalem.
13
All flesh, be silent before Jehovah. For He is raised up out of His holy habitation.
Zechariah 12:8
In that day Jehovah shall defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem. And he who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of Jehovah before them.

For the king of the north shall return and raise a greater multitude than the former. And at the end of some years, he shall come to attack with a great army and with much equipment.

And in those times many shall stand up against the king of the south. And the sons of the violent ones of your people shall rise up to fulfill the vision, but they shall stumble.

So the king of the north shall come and build up a siege mound and seize a fortified city. And the forces of the south shall not stand, nor his choice people, for there will be no strength to resist.
16
But he who comes against him will do as he desires, and no one shall stand before him. And he shall stand in the glorious land, with destruction in his hand.
Daniel 11:27-29

And both of these kings shall have it in their hearts to do evil, and they will speak lies at one table. But it will not prosper, for the end shall still be at the appointed time.

And he will return to his land with great wealth. And his heart shall be against the holy covenant. And he will act, and he shall return to his own land.

At the appointed time he will return and come against the south. But it will not be as the former or as the latter.
