And I said, What are these coming to do? And He spoke, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man lifts up his head. But these have come to terrify them, to cast down the horns of the nations who lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it.

My anger is kindled against the shepherds, and I will punish the rams. For Jehovah of Hosts has visited His flock, the house of Judah, and made them as His majestic horse in battle.

And they shall be like mighty ones who trample the mud of the streets in the battle. And they shall fight because Jehovah is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded.

And Ephraim shall be like a mighty one, and their heart shall be glad as by wine. And their sons shall see and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in Jehovah.

Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling to all the peoples all around, and it shall also be against Judah in the siege against Jerusalem.

In that day I will strike every horse with bewilderment and his rider with madness, says Jehovah. And I will open My eyes on the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the people with blindness.

In that day I will make the governors of Judah like a hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire among cut grain. And they shall devour all the peoples all around, on the right hand and on the left. And Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, in Jerusalem.

In that day Jehovah shall defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem. And he who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of Jehovah before them.

And He shall stand and feed His flock in the strength of Jehovah, in the majesty of the name of Jehovah His God. And they shall dwell, for now He shall be great to the ends of the earth.

And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod at the entrances. Thus He shall deliver us from Assyria, when he comes into our land, and when he treads within our borders.

And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles, in the midst of many peoples, like a lion among the beasts of the forest, like a young lion among the flocks of sheep, who both tramples and tears in pieces if he passes through, and there is no one to deliver.

These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, elect, and faithful.

both children of mankind, and sons of men, rich and poor together.

I will extend my ear to a parable; I will open my dark saying upon the harp.

Those who trust in their wealth and boast in the abundance of their riches:

(for the redemption of their soul is precious, and it comes to an end forever),

The precious sons of Zion, weighed against refined gold, are counted as earthen vessels, the work of the hands of the potter!

And I raised up some of your sons for prophets, and some of your young men for Nazirites. Is this not even so, O sons of Israel? declares Jehovah.

And deliverers shall go up into Mount Zion to judge the mountain of Esau, and the kingdom shall be Jehovah's.

And the male goat is the king of Greece. And the great horn between his eyes is the first king.

And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors have come to the full, a king shall stand forth, having fierce countenance and understanding sinister schemes.

And also through his cunning he will cause deceit to prosper in his hand. And he will magnify himself in his heart, and through prosperity shall destroy many. He shall also stand up against the Ruler of rulers, but he shall be broken in pieces without hands.

And he will corrupt with flatteries those who act wickedly against the covenant. But the people who know their God will be strong and will work.

And when they shall stumble, they will be helped with a little help. But many will join them with hypocrisy.

You have also sold the sons of Judah and the sons of Jerusalem to the sons of the Greeks, that you might remove them far from their borders.

And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the sons of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a nation far off. For Jehovah has spoken.

And many nations shall come and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, and to the house of the God of Jacob. And He will teach us His ways, and we will walk in His paths. For the Law shall go forth out of Zion, and the Word of Jehovah from Jerusalem.

And He shall judge between many peoples, and will decide for strong nations afar off. And they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, nor shall they learn war any more.

And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was taken up into Heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.

that I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

For I will not dare to speak of anything which Christ has not accomplished through me, unto the obedience of the Gentiles in word and deed;

And so I have striven to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, so that I should not build on another man's foundation,

For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who are believing.

but we preach Christ crucified, truly to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness,

Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are mighty;

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.

casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity unto the obedience of Christ,

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith.

In that day Jehovah shall defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem. And he who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of Jehovah before them.

It is the Mighty God who clasps me with strength and makes my way perfect.

He teaches my hands to war, so that a bow of bronze is stretched by my arms.

Gird Your sword upon Your thigh, O mighty One, with Your glory and Your majesty.

i1 [A Psalm of David.] i0 par Blessed is Jehovah my Rock, who teaches my hands for war, and my fingers for battle;

Let the exaltation of the Mighty God be in their throat, and a two-edged sword in their hand,

Behold, I have made you into a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth; you shall thresh the mountains, and beat them fine, and shall make the hills like chaff.

You shall winnow them, and the wind shall carry them away, and a tempest shall scatter them. And you shall rejoice in Jehovah and shall glory in the Holy One of Israel.

And He has made My mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of His hand He has hidden Me, and made Me a polished shaft. He has hidden Me in His quiver,

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God;

For the Word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His appearance was like the sun shining in its strength.

And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write, These things says He who has the sharp two-edged sword:

And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He might strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded out of the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.
