Wait upon Jehovah; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, upon Jehovah!

Rest in Jehovah, and wait patiently for Him; do not fret over him who prospers in his way, because of him who works out wicked devices.

Wait upon Jehovah and keep His way, and He will lift you up to inherit the earth; when the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.

My soul, be still only before God; for my expectation is from Him.

Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes wait upon Jehovah our God, until He shall have mercy upon us.

I have waited for Jehovah, my soul has waited, and in His Word I have hoped.

My soul waits for the Lord more than those who watch for the morning; yea, more than those who watch for the morning.

Do not say, I will recompense evil; wait on Jehovah, and He will save you.

And so Jehovah waits to be gracious to you. And therefore He is exalted, that He may have mercy on you; for Jehovah is a God of justice. Blessed are all those who wait for Him.

Jehovah is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him.

It is good that one should hope for the salvation of Jehovah, even in silence.

Therefore return to your God; keep kindness and justice, and wait for your God continually.

But I will look to Jehovah; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.

Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain.

You also be patient. Make your hearts firm, for the coming of the Lord draws near.

For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, I will now arise, says Jehovah; I will set him in the safety for which he pants.

Then the Lord awoke as if from sleep, like a mighty man overcome with wine.

And He struck His enemies; He put them to a perpetual reproach.

Jehovah goes forth as a mighty man, He stirs up zeal like a man of war; He shouts, yea, roars; He shows Himself mighty against His enemies.

I have continually kept silent; I have been still and refrained Myself. Now I will cry like a woman in labor; I will pant and gasp at once.

And He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor. Therefore His own arm brought salvation unto Him; and His righteousness, it sustained Him.

According to their deeds, accordingly He will repay; fury to His adversaries, recompense to His enemies. He will completely repay their deeds to the coastlands.

Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog, Thus says the Lord Jehovah: On that day when My people Israel dwell safely, will you not know it?

And you will come up against My people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It shall be in the last final days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me, when I am sanctified in you, O Gog, before their eyes.

And it shall come to pass on that day, when Gog comes against the land of Israel, declares the Lord Jehovah, that My fury shall arise in My face.

so that the fish of the sea, the birds of the heavens, the beasts of the field, all creeping things that creep on the earth, and all men who are on the face of the earth shall quake at My presence. The mountains shall be thrown down, the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.

And I will judge him with pestilence and blood; I will rain down upon him, on his troops, and on the many people who are with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.

I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat. And I will enter into judgment with them there, on account of My people and My possession, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; and divided up My land.

Proclaim this among the nations: Consecrate a war; wake up the mighty men; let all the men of war draw near; let them come up.

Assemble yourselves and come, all you nations; and gather yourselves together all around. O Jehovah, bring down Your mighty ones.

Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, go down, for the press is full, the vats overflow, for their wickedness is great.

The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their brightness.

Now also many nations are gathered against you, saying, Let her be defiled, and let our eyes look upon Zion.

Rise up and thresh, O daughter of Zion, for I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hooves bronze, and you shall crush many peoples. And I will consecrate their gain to Jehovah, and their wealth to the Lord of the whole earth.

For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem. And the city shall be captured, and the houses plundered, and the women ravished. And half the city shall go into captivity and the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

And Jehovah shall go forth and fight against those nations, like the day He fought in the day of battle.

And all the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides the sheep from the goats.

For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go forth to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of the heavens, Come and gather together for the supper of the great God,

And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army.

Their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of Jehovah. But all the earth shall be devoured by the fire of His jealousy. For He shall make a complete and speedy end of all those who live in the land.

They have provoked Me to jealousy by what is not the Mighty God; they have moved Me to anger by their vanities. So I will provoke them to jealousy by those who are not a people; I will move them to anger by a foolish nation.

For a fire has been kindled in my anger, and shall burn to the lowest Sheol; it shall consume the earth with her produce, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.

Shulamite to Her Beloved: Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm; for love is as strong as death, jealousy as cruel as Sheol; its flames are flames of fire, a flame of YAH.

therefore thus says the Lord Jehovah: Surely I have spoken in My burning jealousy against the rest of the nations and against Edom, all who gave My land to themselves as a possession, with whole-hearted joy and spiteful minds, in order to plunder its open land.

Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and say to the mountains, the hills, the rivers, and the valleys, Thus says the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I have spoken in My jealousy and My fury, because you have borne the shame of the nations.

For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath I have spoken. Surely in that day there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel,

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, and the elements will be dissolved with intense burning; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.
