And Jehovah passed before him and proclaimed: Jehovah, Jehovah Mighty God, merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in goodness and truth,

keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the sons and the sons' sons to the third and the fourth generation.

and refused to obey, and they were not mindful of Your wonders that You did among them. But they hardened their necks, and in their rebellion they appointed a leader to return to their bondage. But You are God, ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, abundant in kindness; and did not forsake them.

Jehovah is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.

Jehovah is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in kindness.

So, tear your heart, and not your garments; and return to Jehovah your God. For He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and He has compassion concerning the evil.

And he prayed to Jehovah, and said, Please, O Jehovah, was this not my word while I was still in my own country? On account of this, I fled to Tarshish before, for I knew that You are a gracious Mighty God and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and One who is moved to pity regarding inflicting evil.

So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath;

He is wise in heart and mighty in strength. Who has hardened himself against Him and been at peace?

God has spoken once, twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God.

Say unto God, How awesome are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies cower before You.

Great is our Lord, and of great power; His understanding is infinite.

and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us, who believe according to the working of His mighty power

which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenlies,

Jehovah is longsuffering and abundant in mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression; but not acquitting to leave the guilty unpunished, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the sons to the third and fourth generation.

If I have sinned, then You have kept watch over me, and will not acquit me of my iniquity.

And it came to pass on the third day, in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain; and the sound of the shofar was very loud, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled.

And Mount Sinai was completely in smoke, because Jehovah had descended upon it in fire. Its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly.

These words Jehovah has spoken to all your assembly, on the mountain from the midst of the fire, the cloud, and the thick darkness, with a loud voice; and He has added no more. And He wrote them on two tablets of stone and gave them to me.

And you said, Behold, Jehovah our God has shown us His glory and His greatness, and we have heard His voice from the midst of the fire. We have seen this day that God speaks with man, yet he lives.

And He said, Go out, and stand on the mountain before Jehovah. And behold, Jehovah passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before Jehovah, but Jehovah was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but Jehovah was not in the earthquake;

And so it was, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood in the entrance of the cave; and behold, a voice came to him, and said, What are you doing here, Elijah?

Then Jehovah answered Job out of the tempest, and said:

Then the earth shook and trembled; and the foundations of the hills quaked and were shaken, because He was angry.

He also bowed the heavens and came down, and darkness was under His feet.

He made darkness His secret place; His pavilion around Him was dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.

Jehovah also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave forth His voice, hailstones and coals of fire.

Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were uncovered at Your rebuke, O Jehovah, at the blast of the breath of Your nostrils.

Our God comes, and He is not silent; a fire shall devour before Him, and it shall be very stormy all around Him.

Clouds and darkness are round about Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.

His lightnings light up the world; the earth sees and trembles.

who lays the beams of His upper chambers in the waters, who makes the clouds His chariot, who walks on the wings of the wind,

The burden against Egypt: Behold, Jehovah rides on a swift cloud and comes into Egypt. And the idols of Egypt shall tremble at His presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in its midst.

For behold, Jehovah will come with fire and with His chariots like a tempest, to refresh His anger with fury, and His rebuke with flames of fire.

I saw in the night visions. And behold, one like the Son of Man came with the clouds of the heavens. And He came to the Ancient of Days. And they brought Him near before Him.

A pestilence goes before Him, and lightning goes forth at His feet.

I saw the tents of Cushan under wickedness; the curtains of the land of Midian trembled.

You bare Your bow naked, according to the oaths of the tribes, even Your Word. Selah. You have divided the earth with rivers.

The sun and moon stood still in their dwelling. At the light of Your arrows they went, at the shining of Your glittering spear.

You went forth for the salvation of Your people, for the salvation of Your anointed. You struck the head from the house of the wicked by laying bare the foundation to the neck. Selah.

You trod in the sea with Your horses through the surging of many waters.

Then Jehovah will be seen over them, and His arrow shall go out as lightning; and the Lord Jehovah shall blow the shofar and shall go forth with the tempests of the south.

Jesus said to him, You said it. Nevertheless, I say to you, Hereafter you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.

Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will wail because of Him. Even so, Amen.
