And Hezekiah gave him all the silver that was found in the house of Jehovah and in the treasuries of the king's house.

Therefore thus says Jehovah concerning the king of Assyria: He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shield, nor build a siege mound against it.

By the way that he came, by the same shall he return; and he shall not come into this city, says Jehovah.

shall I not do to Jerusalem and her idols as I have done to Samaria and her idols?

And it shall come to pass, when the Lord has completed all His work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, that He will say, I will punish the fruit of the proud heart of the king of Assyria and the glory of his haughty looks.
