In that day a man shall look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel.

And he shall not look to the altars, the work of his hands, nor respect that which his fingers have made, neither the groves nor idols.

And those of you who escape will remember Me among the nations where they are carried captive, because I was crushed by their adulterous heart which has turned away from Me, and by their eyes which go whoring after their idols; they will loathe themselves for the evils which they did in all their abominations.

Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your defilement and from all your idols.

They shall not defile themselves anymore with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions; but I will deliver them out of all their dwelling places where they have sinned, and will cleanse them. Thus they shall be My people, and I will be their God.

And in that day, says Jehovah, you shall call Me, My Husband; and you shall no more call Me, My Master.

For I will take away the names of the Baals out of her mouth; and they shall no more be remembered by their name.

Assyria shall not save us; we will not ride on horses. We shall not say any more to the work of our hands, You are our gods! For in You the fatherless finds mercy.

Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard and observed him. I am as a green cypress tree; your fruit is found in Me.

Their land is full of idols; they bow down to the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made.
