However nation by nation they continued making gods of their own, and put them in the houses on the high places which those from Samaria had made, nation by nation in the cities where they were living.

To this day they continue doing according to the former manner; they do not fear Jehovah, nor do they follow their statutes or their ordinances, or the Law and commandments which Jehovah has commanded the sons of Jacob, whom He had ordained with the name, Israel;

For pass over the coasts of Kittim, and see; and send to Kedar, and consider carefully, and see if there is such a thing.

Has a nation changed their gods, which are not gods? But My people have changed their Glory for that which does not profit.

And when Abram was ninety-nine years old, Jehovah appeared to Abram and said to him, I am the Almighty God! Walk before Me and be perfect;

I will go in the strength of the Lord Jehovah; I will keep in remembrance Your righteousness; Yours alone.

O house of Jacob, come and let us walk in the light of Jehovah.

And I will strengthen them in Jehovah, and they shall walk up and down in His name, says Jehovah.

As you have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him,

And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God, even the Father, through Him.

And God said to Moses, I AM THAT I AM. And He said, Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, I AM has sent me to you.

Moreover God said to Moses, Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel: Jehovah, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My eternal name, and this is My memorial from generation to generation.

For this God is our God forever and ever; He will be our guide even unto death.
