The nations raged, the kingdoms were shaken; He uttered His voice, the earth melted.

Bow down Your heavens, O Jehovah, and come down; touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.

Oh that You would rend the heavens and come down! That the mountains would quake at Your presence,

For behold, Jehovah is coming out of His place, and He will come down and tread upon the high places of the earth.

Who can stand before His indignation? And who can endure His burning anger? His wrath is poured out like fire, and the rocks are broken down because of Him.

The mountains saw You and writhed. The floods of water passed by. The deep uttered its voice and lifted up its hands on high.

And I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heavens fled away. And there was found no place for them.

Shall not the land tremble for this, and everyone who dwells in it mourn? And all of it shall rise like the light, and it shall overflow and sink like the river of Egypt.

How long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of every field wither from the evil of those who dwell in it? The beasts and the birds have been swept away; because they said, He shall not see our last end.

On account of this the land shall mourn, and every one living there shall languish, with the beasts of the field and the birds of the heavens; yes, even the fish of the sea shall be taken away.

For this let everyone who is godly pray unto You, in a time when You may be found; surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come near him.

The streams have lifted up, O Jehovah, the streams have lifted up their sound; the streams lift up their waves.

Jehovah on high is mightier than the sound of many waters, than the mighty breakers of the sea.

therefore behold, the Lord brings up upon them the waters of the River, strong and abundant, even the king of Assyria and all his glory; and he shall come up over all his channels and go over all his banks.

And he shall pass through Judah. He shall overflow and go over; he shall reach to the neck. And the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of Your land, O Immanuel.

and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.
