But from there you will seek Jehovah your God, and you shall find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.

(for Jehovah your God is a merciful Mighty God), He will not forsake you nor destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which He has sworn unto them.

But Jehovah was gracious to them, had compassion on them, and regarded them, because of His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and would not yet destroy them or cast them from His presence.

Nevertheless in Your great mercy You did not annihilate them nor forsake them; for You are the Mighty God, gracious and merciful.

For Jehovah will not cast off His people, nor will He forsake His inheritance.

Yet behold, there shall be left in it a remnant who will be brought out, both sons and daughters; surely they will come out to you, and you will see their ways and their doings. Then you will be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, all that I have brought upon it.

And they will comfort you when you see their ways and their doings; and you shall know that I have done nothing without cause, all that I have done in it, says the Lord Jehovah.

God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel, saying,

And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: The Deliverer will come out of Zion, and He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;

Nevertheless in My lovingkindness I will not crush him, nor deal falsely in My faithfulness.

Do not abhor us; for Your name's sake do not disgrace the throne of Your glory; remember, do not break Your covenant with us.

Thus says Jehovah: If you can break My covenant of the day and My covenant of the night, so that there should not be day and night in their season,

then also may My covenant with David My servant be broken, that he should not have a son to reign on his throne, and with the Levites the priests, My ministers.

Nevertheless I will remember My covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish an everlasting covenant with you.
