And you shall speak to the children of Israel, saying: Whoever curses his God shall bear his sin.

And whoever blasphemes the name of Jehovah shall be executed to death. All the congregation shall stone him with stones, the sojourner as well as him who is born in the land. When he blasphemes the Name, he shall be put to death.

You shall not take the name of Jehovah your God in vain, for Jehovah will not leave unpunished one who takes His name in vain.

However, because of this matter in which you have caused contempt, for Jehovah to be spurned by His enemies, the child also who is born to you shall die the death.

and seat two men, sons of worthlessness, before him to bear witness against him, saying, You have blasphemed God and the king. Then take him out, and stone him, that he may die.

Then Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, who was over the household, Shebna the scribe, and Joah the son of Asaph, the recorder, came to Hezekiah with their clothes torn, and reported to him the words of Rabshakeh.

And so it was, when King Hezekiah heard it, that he tore his clothes, covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of Jehovah.

And they said to him, Thus says Hezekiah: This day is a day of trouble, and rebuke, and contempt; for the children have come to birth, but there is no strength to bring forth.

Who among all the gods of those nations that my fathers utterly destroyed was able to deliver his people out of my hand, that your God should be able to deliver you out of my hand?

Furthermore, his servants spoke against Jehovah God and against His servant Hezekiah.

Remember this, that the enemy has reproached, O Jehovah, and that the foolish people have blasphemed Your name.

Arise, O God, plead Your own case; remember the daily reproaches of the fool.

Then the high priest tore his clothes, saying, He has spoken blasphemy! What further need do we have of witnesses? Behold, now you have heard His blasphemy!

However, stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has, and will he not curse You to Your face!

In all this Job did not sin nor charge God with folly.

But stretch out Your hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse You to Your face!

Then his wife said to him, Do you still hold fast to your integrity? Curse God and die!

But he said to her, You speak as one of the foolish ones speak. Shall we indeed receive good from God, and shall we not accept adversity? In all this Job did not sin with his lips.

And they shall pass through it, hard-pressed and hungry; and it shall come to pass that when they shall be hungry, that they shall be enraged and curse their king and their God, and look upward.

And let them judge the people at all times. Then it will be that every great matter they shall bring to you, but every small matter they themselves shall judge. So it will be easier for you, and they shall bear the burden with you.

And they judged the people at all times; the hard matters they brought to Moses, but they judged every small matter themselves.

And those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation.

And Jehovah said to Moses, The man shall be executed to death; all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp.
