When you come into the land, and have planted all kinds of trees for food, then you shall consider their fruit as uncircumcised. Three years it shall be as uncircumcised to you. It shall not be eaten.

And in the fifth year you shall eat its fruit, that it may yield to you its increase: I am Jehovah your God.

Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: When you come into the land which I am giving you, then the land shall keep a sabbath unto Jehovah.

Six years you shall sow your field, and six years you shall prune your vineyard, and gather its produce;

Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And Jehovah had regard for Abel and his offering,

but He did not have regard for Cain and his offering. And Cain's anger burned greatly, and his countenance fell.

And they ate of the produce of the land on the day after the Passover, unleavened bread and roasted grain, on the very same day.

And the manna ceased on the day after they had eaten the produce of the land; and the children of Israel no longer had manna, but they ate the fruit of the land of Canaan that year.

This shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings: you shall eat neither fat nor blood.

and to teach the children of Israel all the statutes which Jehovah has spoken to them by the hand of Moses.

And you shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt, and you shall take heed to do these statutes.

You made known to them Your holy Sabbath, and commanded them precepts, statutes and Laws, by the hand of Your servant Moses.

The Statutes of Jehovah are upright, rejoicing the heart; the Commandments of Jehovah are pure, illuminating the eyes.
