Every one of you shall revere his mother and his father, and keep My Sabbaths: I am Jehovah your God.

You shall keep My Sabbaths and reverence My sanctuary: I am Jehovah.

And Moses said to Aaron, This is what Jehovah has spoken, saying: By those who come near Me I will be honored as holy, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron kept still.

Thus you shall separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness, lest they die in their uncleanness when they defile My tabernacle that is among them.

and Jehovah said to Moses: Speak to Aaron your brother that he not come at all times into the Holy Place inside the veil, before the mercy seat which is on the ark, that he not die; for I will appear in the cloud above the mercy seat.

And Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, Surely Jehovah is in this place, and I did not realize it.

And he was afraid and said, How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of Heaven!

And he set a graven image, the idol which he had made, in the house of God, of which God had said to David and to Solomon his son, In this house and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put My name always;

Moreover all the rulers of the priests and the people trespassed with great unfaithfulness, according to all the abominations of the nations, and defiled the house of Jehovah which He had consecrated in Jerusalem.

The Mighty God is greatly to be feared in the council of the saints, and to be held in reverence by all those around Him.

Guard your feet when you go to the house of God, and be more ready to hear than to give the sacrifice of fools. For they do not know that they are doing evil.

Utterly slay old and young men, maidens and little children and women; but do not come near anyone on whom is the mark; and begin at My sanctuary. So they began with the elders who were before the house.

And He said to them, It is written, My house shall be called a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves.

And when He had made a whip out of rope, He drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers' money and overturned the tables.

And He said to those who sold doves, Take these things away from here! Do not make My Father's house a house of merchandise!

And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?
