and does not bring it to the door of the tent of meeting to offer an offering unto Jehovah before the tabernacle of Jehovah, blood shall be imputed to that man. He has shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people;

And any man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who sojourn among you, who eats any blood, I will set My face against that soul who eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people.

Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: If any one of you brings an offering unto Jehovah, you shall bring your offering of the livestock; of the herd and of the flock.

If his offering is a burnt offering of the herd, let him offer a male that is whole; he shall offer it of his own free will at the door of the tent of meeting before Jehovah.

and build an altar unto Jehovah your God on top of this rock in the proper arrangement, and take the second bull and offer a burnt offering with the wood of the grove which you shall chop down.

And Samuel took a suckling lamb and offered it as a whole burnt offering unto Jehovah. And Samuel cried out unto Jehovah for Israel, and Jehovah answered him.

You shall go down before me to Gilgal; and behold, I will come down to you to offer burnt offerings and to sacrifice sacrifices of peace offerings. Seven days you shall wait, till I come to you and show you what you shall do.

And Samuel said, How can I go? If Saul hears it, he will kill me. And Jehovah said, Take a heifer from the herd at your hand, and say, I have come to sacrifice unto Jehovah.

And David built there an altar unto Jehovah, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. And Jehovah was entreated for the land, and the plague was restrained from Israel.

Then Elijah said to all the people, Come near to me. So all the people came near to him. And he repaired the altar of Jehovah that was broken down.

And with the stones he built an altar in the name of Jehovah; and he made a trench around the altar large enough to hold two seahs of seed.

Then he said, Do it a second time, and they did it a second time; and he said, Do it a third time, and they did it a third time.

And it came to pass, at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near and said, Jehovah the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known this day that You are God in Israel and I am Your servant, and that I have done all these things at Your Word.

Then the fire of Jehovah fell and consumed the burnt offering, and the wood and the stones and the dust, and it licked up the water that was in the trench.

For from the east to the west, My name shall be great among the nations, and everywhere incense shall be offered to My name; and a pure food offering; for My name shall be great among the nations, says Jehovah of Hosts.
