whatever prayer, whatever supplication is made by anyone, or by all Your people Israel, when each one knows the plague of his own heart, and spreads out his hands toward this house:

Behold, I have been vile! What shall I answer You? I have put my hand to my mouth.

Therefore I despise myself, and have repented in dust and ashes.

But we are all like an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are like a menstruation cloth. And we all fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

concerning sin, because they do not believe into Me;

For we know that the Law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us.
