I am Jehovah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

And Moses said to Aaron, This is what Jehovah has spoken, saying: By those who come near Me I will be honored as holy, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron kept still.

Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say to them: You shall be holy, for I Jehovah your God am holy.

Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am Jehovah your God.

And you shall be holy unto Me, for I, Jehovah, am holy, and have set you apart from the peoples, that you should be Mine.

And you shall be unto Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the words which you shall speak unto the children of Israel.

For you are a holy people unto Jehovah your God, and Jehovah has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.

And the men of Beth Shemesh said, Who is able to stand before Jehovah, this holy God? And to whom shall He go up from us?

Exalt Jehovah our God, and bow down at His footstool; He is holy.

Exalt Jehovah our God, and bow down at His holy hill; for Jehovah our God is holy.

And one cried to another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is Jehovah of Hosts; the whole earth full of His glory!

Then I said, Woe is me! for I am undone! for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, Jehovah of Hosts.

Can two walk together except they are agreed?

Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in Heaven is perfect.

For God did not call us to impurity, but in sanctification.

but as He who called you is holy, you also become holy in all conduct,

because it is written, Be holy, because I am holy.

But you are an elect race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people of His possession, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.
