that the land not also vomit you out when you defile it, as it vomited out the nations that were before you.

You shall therefore keep all My statutes and all My judgments, and do them, that the land where I am bringing you to dwell may not vomit you out.

I call the heavens and the earth to witness against you this day, that you shall quickly die and perish from off the land which you are crossing over the Jordan to possess; you shall not prolong your days in it, but shall be destroyed to annihilation.

And it shall be, that just as Jehovah has rejoiced over you to do you good and multiply you, so Jehovah will rejoice over you to destroy you and annihilate you; and you shall be torn away from off the land which you are going in to possess.

Therefore it shall come to pass, that as all the good things have come upon you which Jehovah your God has spoken to you, so Jehovah will bring upon you every evil thing, to destroy you from this good land which Jehovah your God has given to you.

then I will cut off Israel from the land which I have given them; and this house which I have consecrated for My name I will send away from before My face; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all peoples.

Rise up and depart. This is not your rest, for it is unclean. It shall destroy with grievous destruction.

The land shall not be sold in perpetuity, for the land is Mine; for you are strangers and sojourners with Me.

And I brought you into a plentiful land, to eat its fruit and its goodness; but when you entered, you defiled My land and made My inheritance an abomination.

And first I will repay double their iniquity and their sin, because they have defiled My land, they have filled My inheritance with the carcasses of their detestable and abominable things.

For, lo, they are gone because of destruction. Egypt shall gather them up; Memphis shall bury them. Nettles shall possess their valuables of silver; thorns shall be in their tents.

They sacrifice flesh for the sacrifices of My offerings, and they eat; but Jehovah does not accept them. Now He will remember their iniquity and punish their sins. They shall return to Egypt.

He shall not return to the land of Egypt, but the Assyrian shall be his king, because they refused to come back.

And Jehovah will take you back to Egypt in ships, by the way of which I had said to you, You shall never see it again. And there you shall have been sold to your enemies as male and female slaves, but no one will buy you.

And Jehovah shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Sea of Egypt; and with His scorching wind He shall shake His fist over the River, and shall strike it into seven streams, and make men tread it dry-shod.

And there shall be a highway for the remnant of His people, those left as survivors from Assyria; as it was for Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.

And Jehovah said, Even so shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, where I will drive them.

And Daniel determined in his heart that he would not defile himself with the king's food, or with the wine which he drank. So he asked of the chief of the officials that he might not defile himself.

But Peter said, By no means, Lord! For I have never eaten anything common or unclean.

They shall tremble as a bird from Egypt, and as a dove from the land of Assyria. And I will make them live in their houses, says Jehovah.

In the ninth year of Hoshea, the king of Assyria took Samaria and carried Israel away to Assyria, and settled them in Halah and by the Habor, the River of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes.
