Yet I am Jehovah your God, ever since the land of Egypt; and you shall know no other gods but Me. For there is no Savior besides Me.

I have known you in the wilderness, in the land of great drought.

Thus all the children of Israel did; as Jehovah commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did.

And it came to pass on the same day, that Jehovah brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt according to their armies.

And Moses said to the people: Remember this day in which you went out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand Jehovah has brought you out from here. Nothing leavened shall be eaten.

When Jacob had gone into Egypt, and your fathers cried out unto Jehovah, then Jehovah sent Moses and Aaron, who brought your fathers out of Egypt and made them dwell in this place.

You led Your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

Then He remembered the days of old, Moses and His people, saying, Where is He who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of His flock? Where is He who put His Holy Spirit within him;

who led them by the right hand of Moses with His glorious arm, dividing the water before them, to make for Himself an everlasting name?

And I raised up some of your sons for prophets, and some of your young men for Nazirites. Is this not even so, O sons of Israel? declares Jehovah.

But you gave the Nazirites wine to drink, and you commanded the prophets, saying, Do not prophesy.

For I brought you up out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you out of the house of bondage; and I sent Moses, Aaron, and Miriam before you.

For Moses truly said to the fathers, The Lord your God will raise up to you a Prophet like me from among your brethren. You shall hear Him in all things, whatever He says to you.

And it shall be that every soul who will not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.

This Moses whom they rejected, saying, Who made you a ruler and a judge? is the one God sent to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the Angel who appeared to him in the bush.

This is that Moses who said to the children of Israel, The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear.
