Now therefore, our God, we are giving thanks to You and praising Your glorious name.

Offer to God thanksgiving, and make good your vows to the Most High,

Moreover God said to Moses, Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel: Jehovah, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My eternal name, and this is My memorial from generation to generation.

Jehovah our God be with us, as He was with our fathers. May He not leave us nor forsake us,

And it came to pass, at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near and said, Jehovah the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known this day that You are God in Israel and I am Your servant, and that I have done all these things at Your Word.

And David blessed Jehovah before the eyes of all the assembly, and David said: Blessed are You, Jehovah the God of Israel, our Father, forever and ever.

and said: O Jehovah the God of our fathers, are You not God in Heaven, and do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations, and in Your hand is there not power and might, so that no one is able to withstand You?

Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, for wisdom and might are His.

And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings, and sets up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise, and knowledge to those who have understanding.

Counsel and sound wisdom are mine; I am understanding; I have strength.

A wise man scales the city of the mighty and brings down the strength of its refuge.

A wise man is strong; yes, a man of knowledge increases strength.

Wisdom makes the wise stronger than ten who dominate the city.

And I said, Wisdom is better than strength; but the poor man's wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard.

Wisdom is better than weapons of war; but one sinner destroys much good.

that they might pray for the mercies of God in Heaven concerning this secret, that Daniel and his companions should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.

As for you, O king, thoughts came to you on your bed, about what should come to pass after this. And He who reveals secrets makes known to you what shall come to pass.

But as for me, this secret is not revealed to me for any wisdom that I have more than any living man, but in order that the interpretation might be made known to the king, and that you might know the thoughts of your heart.

And Jehovah said, Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing,

The secret of Jehovah is with those who fear Him; and He will make them know His Covenant.

Surely the Lord Jehovah will do nothing unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.

No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master does; but I have called you friends, for all things that I hear from My Father I make known to you.

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His servants; things which must happen quickly. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John,

But one of the elders said to me, Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loosen its seven seals.
