And in any matter of wisdom and understanding that the king inquired of them, he found them to be ten times better than all the magicians and conjurers who were in all his kingdom.

Then the king made Daniel great and gave him many great gifts. And he made him ruler over all the province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon.

There is a man in your kingdom in whom is the spirit of the holy gods. And in the days of your father, light and understanding and wisdom were found in him, like the wisdom of the gods. Your father, King Nebuchadnezzar, your father the king, appointed him master of the magicians, conjurers, Chaldeans and fortunetellers;

because an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and declaring riddles, and the solving of problems were found in this Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar. Now let Daniel be called, and he will give the interpretation.

and Hamath also borders on it; Tyre and Sidon, though they are very wise.

And Tyre shall build a fortress for herself, and shall pile up silver like the dust, and gold like the mud of the streets.

And God gave Solomon wisdom and exceedingly great understanding, and breadth of heart like the sand on the seashore.

For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol; and his fame was in all the surrounding nations.

And Solomon made known all her matters; there was nothing so difficult for the king that he could not explain it to her.

Have you heard the counsel of God? Do you limit wisdom to yourself?

The secret of Jehovah is with those who fear Him; and He will make them know His Covenant.

He reveals the deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells in Him.

Daniel replied before the king and said, The secret which the king has demanded cannot be declared to the king by the wise men, the conjurers, the magicians, or the fortunetellers.

But there is a God in Heaven who reveals secrets, and makes known to King Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Your dream, and the visions of your head on your bed, are these:

The king answered Daniel and said, Your God truly is a God of gods and a Lord of kings, and a Revealer of secrets, since you could reveal this secret.
