And they shall burn your houses with fire, and execute judgments on you in the sight of many women; and I will put an end to your harlotry, and you shall no longer hire lovers.

I will scatter you among the nations, disperse you throughout the earth, and destroy your filthiness out of you.

Therefore by this shall the iniquity of Jacob be atoned; and this is all the fruit to take away his sin; when he makes all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in pieces, the groves and idols shall not stand.

And it shall be in that day, that I will cut off your horses out of your midst, and I will destroy your chariots, declares Jehovah.

And I will cut off sorceries out of your hand, and there shall not be any more conjurers.

And I will pluck your groves from your midst, and I will destroy your cities.

And it shall be in that day, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no longer be remembered, says Jehovah of Hosts. And I will also cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.

They committed harlotry in Egypt, they committed harlotry in their youth; their breasts were handled, their virgin nipples were fondled.

Yet she multiplied her harlotry in calling to remembrance the days of her youth, when she had committed adultery in the land of Egypt.
