When a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, commits iniquity, and dies in it, it is for the iniquity which he has done that he dies.

Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die. Because you did not give him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at your hand.

Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man that the righteous should not sin, and he does not sin, he shall live life because he took warning; and you have delivered your soul.

Therefore you, O son of man, say to the children of your people: The righteousness of the righteous man shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression. As for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall because of it in the day that he turns from his wickedness; nor shall the righteous be able to live because of his righteousness in the day that he sins.

When I say to the righteous that he shall live life, but he trusts in his own righteousness and commits iniquity, none of all his righteousness shall be remembered; but because of the iniquity that he has done, he shall die.

When the righteous turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, he shall die because of it.

I regret that I have set up Saul as king, for he has turned back from following Me, and has not carried out My words. And it angered Samuel, and he cried out to Jehovah all night.

Joash did what was right in the eyes of Jehovah all the days of Jehoiada the priest.

And after the death of Jehoiada the rulers of Judah came and bowed down to the king. And the king gave heed to them.

And He sent prophets to them, to bring them back to Jehovah; and they testified against them, but they would not listen.

So they conspired against him, and at the command of the king they stoned him with stones in the court of the house of Jehovah.

The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit; he has left off acting wisely and doing good.

He devises wickedness on his bed; he sets himself in a way that is not good; he does not despise evil.

As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, Jehovah shall lead them away with the workers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel!

and those drawing back from following Jehovah, and who have not sought Jehovah, nor inquired of Him.

That which was sown on stony places, this is he who hears the Word and immediately receives it with joy;

yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when affliction or persecution arises because of the Word, immediately he stumbles.

From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more.

Then Simon Peter answered Him, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the Words of eternal life.

Jesus answered them, Did I not choose you, the twelve, but one of you is a devil?

You were running well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth?

Now the just shall live by faith; but if anyone draws back, My soul is not pleased with him.

But we are not of those who draw back to destruction, but of those who believe to the preserving of the soul.

For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through wantonness, the ones who have actually escaped from those living in error.

For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the full true knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the end is worse for them than the beginning.

But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: A dog returns to his own vomit, and, a sow, having been washed, to her wallowing in the mire.

They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that not all of them are of us.

If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin not unto death, he shall ask, and He will give him life for those who commit sin not unto death. There is sin unto death. I do not say that he should ask about that.

We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the evil does not touch him.

These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you, serving themselves without fear. They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

If he begets a son who is a robber or who sheds blood, who does any of these things,

if he has oppressed the poor and needy, plundered by robbery, not restored the pledge, has lifted his eyes to the idols, or committed abomination;

When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none.

Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be unto this wicked generation.

And even as they do not like to have God in their full true knowledge, God gives them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

defamers, haters of God, insolent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

For I fear lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I wish, and that I shall be found by you such as you do not wish; lest there be contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, evil speakings, whisperings, conceits, commotions;

that it not be, when I come again, that my God will humble me among you, and I shall mourn for many who have sinned before and have not repented of the uncleanness, sexual perversities, and licentiousness which they have practiced.

But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:

without natural affection, unyielding, slanderers, without self-control, savage, despisers of good,

having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away.

None of the transgressions which he has done shall be remembered against him; because of the righteousness which he has done, he shall live.

And you will be hated by everyone on account of My name. But he who endures to the end shall be kept safe.

Have you suffered so many things in vain; if indeed it was in vain?

For it is impossible for those who at one time were given understanding, and have tasted the Heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit,

and also turn aside, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and expose Him to public disgrace.

For if we sin willfully after we have received the full true knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins,

Anyone who rejected Moses' Law dies without mercy before two or three witnesses.

For we know Him who has said, Vengeance is Mine, I will repay, says the Lord. And again, The Lord will judge His people.

Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we have produced, but that we may receive a full reward.

Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have affliction ten days. Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.

Behold, I am coming quickly. Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.

As for his father, because he cruelly oppressed, plundered his brother by robbery, and did what is not good among his people, behold, he shall die in his iniquity.

The wicked is cast down in his wickedness, but the righteous has refuge in his death.

The man who wanders out of the way of understanding shall rest in the assembly of the spirits of the dead.

Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many works of power in Your name?

And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; depart from Me, you who work out lawlessness!

Then Jesus said to them again, I am going away, and you will seek Me, and will die in your sin. Where I go you are not able to come.

Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I AM, you will die in your sins.
