If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?

Therefore I will make Samaria into a ruinous heap of the field, places for planting a vineyard. And I will pour down her stones into the valley, and I will uncover her foundations.

You went forth for the salvation of Your people, for the salvation of Your anointed. You struck the head from the house of the wicked by laying bare the foundation to the neck. Selah.

And everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be likened to a foolish man who built his house on the sand;

and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.

But he who hears and does not act is like a man who builds a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream bursts; and immediately it falls. And the ruin of that house is great.

I will also tear off your veils and deliver My people out of your hand, and they shall no longer be as prey in your hand. And you shall know that I am Jehovah.

Therefore you shall no longer see vanity nor divine divinations; for I will deliver My people out of your hand, and you shall know that I am Jehovah.

I will set My face against that man and make him desolate as a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of My people. And you shall know that I am Jehovah.
