Ezekiel 12:10-12
10
Say to them, Thus says the Lord Jehovah: This burden concerns the prince in Jerusalem and all the house of Israel who are among them.
11
Say, I am a sign to you. As I have done, so shall it be done to them; they shall go into exile, into captivity.
12
And the prince who is among them shall bear his belongings on his shoulder in the dark and go out. They shall dig through the wall to carry them out through it. He shall cover his face, so that he cannot see the ground with his eyes.
Ezekiel 4:1-17
1
You also, son of man, take a clay tablet and lay it before you, and engrave on it a city, Jerusalem.
2
And lay siege against it, build a siege wall against it, and heap up a mound against it; set camps against it also, and place battering rams against it all around.
3
Moreover take for yourself an iron plate, and set it as an iron wall between you and the city. Set your face against it, and it shall be under siege, and you shall lay siege against it. This will be a sign to the house of Israel.
4
Lie also on your left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it. According to the number of the days that you lie on it, you shall bear their iniquity.
5
For I have laid on you the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days; so you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.
6
And when you have completed them, lie again on your right side; then you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days. I have laid on you a day for each year.
7
Therefore you shall set your face toward the siege of Jerusalem; your arm shall be uncovered, and you shall prophesy against it.
8
And surely I will put bands on you so that you cannot turn from one side to another till you have completed the days of your siege.
9
Also take for yourself wheat, barley, beans, lentils, millet, and spelt; put them into one vessel, and make bread of them for yourself, according to the number of days that you lie on your side; three hundred and ninety days, you shall eat it.
10
And your food which you eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day; from time to time you shall eat it.
11
You shall also drink water by measure, one-sixth of a hin; from time to time you shall drink.
12
And you shall eat it as barley cakes; and bake it using dung of human excrement, in their eyes.
13
And Jehovah said, Even so shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, where I will drive them.
14
So I said, Ah, Lord Jehovah! Behold, my soul has never been defiled from my youth till now; I have never eaten a carcass or a torn animal, nor has abominable flesh ever come into my mouth.
15
Then He said to me, See, I am giving you cow manure instead of human dung, and you shall prepare your bread over it.
16
Moreover He said to me, Son of man, behold, I will cut off the food supply in Jerusalem; and they shall eat bread by weight and with anxiety, and shall drink water by measure and in horror,
17
that they may lack bread and water, and be appalled with one another, and waste away because of their iniquity.
Jeremiah 13:1-11
1
Thus Jehovah said to me, Go and buy for yourself a linen waistband, and put it around your waist, and do not put it in water.
2
So I bought a waistband according to the Word of Jehovah, and put it around my waist.
3
And the Word of Jehovah came unto me a second time, saying,
4
Take the waistband that you bought, which is around your waist, and arise. Go to Euphrates, and hide it there in a hole of the rock.
5
So I went and hid it by Euphrates, as Jehovah commanded me.
6
And it came to pass at the end of many days that Jehovah said to me, Arise, go to the Euphrates and take the waistband from there, which I commanded you to hide there.
7
Then I went to the Euphrates and dug, and took the waistband from the place where I had hidden it. And, behold, the waistband was rotten; it was good for nothing.
8
Then the Word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
9
Thus says Jehovah, In this way I will spoil the pride of Judah and the great pride of Jerusalem.
10
This evil people, who refuse to hear My Words, who walk in the stubbornness of their heart and walk after other gods to serve them and to bow down to them, shall even be like this waistband, which is good for nothing.
11
For as the waistband clings to the waist of a man, so I have caused the whole house of Israel and the whole house of Judah to cling to Me, says Jehovah; so that they might be a people unto Me, and for a name, and for a praise, and for a glory; but they would not hear.
Jeremiah 18:2-12

Arise and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause you to hear My Words.
3
Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he was fashioning an object on the wheel.
4
And the vessel that he made of clay was ruined in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
5
Then the Word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
6
O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter? says Jehovah. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hands, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel.
7
The instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck it up; or to pull it down, and to destroy it;
8
if that nation, against whom I have spoken, will turn from their evil, I will be moved with compassion regarding the evil that I thought to do to them.
9
And the instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and plant it;
10
if it does evil in My eyes, so that it does not obey My voice, then I will regret the good by which I said I would do good to them.
11
Now then, go speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, Thus says Jehovah: Behold, I am forming evil against you, and devising a plan against you. Return now, each one from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good.
12
And they said, There is no hope; but we will walk after our own thoughts, and we will each one do according to the stubbornness of his evil heart.
Jeremiah 19:1-15
1
Thus says Jehovah, Go and get a potter's earthen jar, and assemble some of the elders of the people and of the elders of the priests.
2
And go out to the valley of the son of Hinnom which is by the entry of Potsherd Gate. And there proclaim the words that I shall tell you.
3
And say, Hear the Word of Jehovah, O kings of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem. Thus says Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, which shall cause the ears of him who hears it to tingle,
4
because they have forsaken Me, and have given regard to this place and have burned incense in it to other gods whom neither they nor their fathers have known, nor the kings of Judah, and have filled this place with the blood of innocents.
5
They have also built the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings to Baal, which I never commanded nor spoke, nor did it even come into My mind.
6
Therefore behold, the days are coming, says Jehovah, that this place shall no more be called Tophet, nor the valley of the son of Hinnom, but The Valley of Slaughter.
7
And I will make void the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem in this place, and I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hands of those who seek their lives. And I will give their corpses as food for the birds of the heavens, and for the beasts of the earth.
8
And I will make this city a desolation and a hissing. Everyone who passes by shall be amazed and shall hiss because of all its plagues.
9
And I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters, and they shall each one eat the flesh of his friend in the siege and distress with which their enemies and those who seek their lives shall distress them.
10
Then you shall break the jar before the eyes of the men who go with you,
11
and shall say to them, Thus says Jehovah of Hosts, Even so I will break this people and this city, as one breaks a potter's vessel, that cannot be made whole again. And they shall bury them in Tophet until there is no place left to bury.
12
I will do this to this place, says Jehovah, and to its inhabitants, and make this city as Tophet.
13
And the houses of Jerusalem and the houses of the kings of Judah shall be as defiled as the place of Tophet, because of all the houses on whose roofs they have burned incense to all the host of the heavens, and have poured out drink offerings to other gods.
14
Then Jeremiah came from Tophet, where Jehovah had sent him to prophesy. And he stood in the court of Jehovah's house, and said to all the people,
15
Thus says Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will bring on this city and on all its towns all the evil that I have spoken against it, because they have hardened their necks so that they might not hear My Words.

Yet you have not listened to Me, says Jehovah, so that you might provoke Me to anger with the works of your hands, to your own hurt.
