For a voice declares from Dan, and proclaims affliction from Mount Ephraim.

Tell it to the nations: Behold! proclaim against Jerusalem! Watchers are going to come from a distant land; and they will utter their voice against the cities of Judah.

And they called the name of the city Dan, after the name of Dan their father, who was born to Israel. However, the name of the city formerly was Laish.

He rebukes the sea and makes it dry, and dries up all the rivers. Bashan and Carmel wither, and the flower of Lebanon wilts.

The mountains quake before Him, and the hills melt; and the earth is lifted up before Him, even the world and all who dwell in it.

The sound of a whip, and the sound of rattling of wheels, and galloping horses, and of bounding chariots.
