so that none of the remnant of Judah who have gone into the land of Egypt to live there shall escape or survive, that they should return into the land of Judah to which they have a desire to return to live there. For no one shall return except those who escape.

And the rest of the trees of his forest shall be so few, that a child might write them.

For though Your people Israel are like the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return; the completion which is decreed shall overflow with righteousness.

And it shall be in that day that Jehovah will thresh from the flowing stream to the river of Egypt, and you shall be gathered one by one, O children of Israel.

And it shall be in that day that the great shofar shall be blown, and those about to perish in the land of Assyria shall come, along with the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall bow down to Jehovah in the holy mountain at Jerusalem.

As for the Word that you have spoken to us in the name of Jehovah, we will not give heed to you.

But we will prepare and do whatever goes forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense to the Queen of Heaven, and to pour out drink offerings to her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our rulers, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem. For then we had plenty of food, and were well-off, and saw no evil.

Thus says Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel, saying: You and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and fulfilled with your hands, saying, We will prepare and celebrate our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the Queen of Heaven, and to pour out drink offerings to her. You will arise and carry out your vows, and prepare and celebrate your vows.

Therefore hear the Word of Jehovah, all Judah that lives in the land of Egypt: Behold, I have sworn by My great name, says Jehovah, that My name shall no more be named in the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, The Lord Jehovah lives.

And this shall be a sign to you, says Jehovah, that I will punish you in this place, so that you may know that My Words shall be established and confirmed against you for evil.

Say to them, As I live, says Jehovah, just as you have spoken in My ears, so I will do to you:

The carcasses of you who have grumbled against Me shall fall in this wilderness, all of you who were numbered, according to your entire number, from twenty years old and above.

And Moses said, Why do you transgress the mouth of Jehovah? For it will not prosper.

The counsel of Jehovah stands forever, the thoughts of His heart from generation to generation.

Jehovah of Hosts has sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so it shall come to pass; and as I have purposed, so it shall stand;

This is the purpose that is purposed upon all the earth; and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations.

Therefore thus says the Lord Jehovah, Behold, I have founded in Zion a Stone, a tried Stone, a precious Cornerstone, a sure Foundation; he who trusts in It shall not be anxious.

And your covenant with death shall be covered over, and your agreement with Sheol shall not stand; when the overwhelming scourge shall pass through, then you shall be trampled down by it.

declaring the end from the beginning, and from antiquity things which are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure;

calling a bird of prey from the east, the man who executes my counsel from a distant land. Indeed, I have spoken it; I will also bring it to pass. I have formed it; I will also do it.

Who is he who speaks and it occurs, if the Lord has not commanded it?

From the mouth of the Most High does not come forth both evil and good.

But My Words and My statutes which I commanded My servants the prophets, did they not overtake your fathers? And they turned back and said, As Jehovah of Hosts purposes to do to us, according to our ways and according to our doings, so He has dealt with us.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My Words will by no means pass away.
