Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you, and you shall eat the plants of the field.

Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in kindness. Break up your fallow ground. For it is time to seek Jehovah, until He comes and rains righteousness on you.

And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked them.

And that which was sown among the thorns is he who hears the Word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the Word, and he becomes unfruitful.

And some seed fell among thorns; and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.

And these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the Word,

and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts for other things entering in choke the Word, and it becomes unfruitful.

And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up with it and choked it.

And the ones that fell among thorns are those who, when they have heard, go out and are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity.

Do not be led astray, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap eternal life.
