Why did I not die from the womb? Why did I not expire when I came forth from the belly?

Or why was I not concealed like a miscarriage, like infants who never saw the light?

Why then have You brought me out of the womb? Oh, that I had expired and no eye had seen me!

I would have been as though I had not been. I would have been carried from the womb to the grave.
