Their widows are more numerous around Me than the sand of the seas; I have brought on them, against a mother of a young man, a plunderer at noonday; I have caused anguish and terror to fall suddenly upon the city.

O My mountain in the field, I will give your wealth and all your treasures for plunder, and your high places for sin, throughout all your borders.

And I will give all the wealth of this city, and its produce, and all its precious things, and all the treasures of the kings of Judah will I give into the hand of their enemies; who will plunder them and take them, and bring them to Babylon.

You sell Your people for nothing, and have not increased wealth by their price.

For thus says Jehovah, You have sold yourselves for nothing; and you shall be redeemed without silver.

Now therefore, what have I here, says Jehovah, that My people are taken away for nothing? Those who rule make them howl, says Jehovah; and My name is continually blasphemed every day.
