And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God. We have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is Jehovah; we have waited for Him, we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.

Yea, in the way of Your judgments, O Jehovah, we have waited for You; for the desire of our soul is Your name and the remembrance of You.

O Jehovah, be gracious to us; we have waited for You. Be their arm every morning; our salvation also in the time of trouble.

For since ancient times they have not heard, nor been obedient. Eye has not seen any god besides You, who works for him who waits for Him.

I have waited for your salvation, O Jehovah.

Wait upon Jehovah; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, upon Jehovah!

Our soul waits for Jehovah; He is our help and our shield.

Wait upon Jehovah and keep His way, and He will lift you up to inherit the earth; when the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.

And now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in You.

i1 [To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.] i0 par I waited patiently for Jehovah, and He inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

I have waited for Jehovah, my soul has waited, and in His Word I have hoped.

Jehovah is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him.

It is good that one should hope for the salvation of Jehovah, even in silence.

Therefore return to your God; keep kindness and justice, and wait for your God continually.

But I will look to Jehovah; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.

For the vision is yet for the appointed time; it speaks forth to the end, and it does not lie. Though it delays, wait for it, because it will come and take place; it will not tarry.

and to wait for His Son from Heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the coming wrath.

Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.

For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:

Now the just shall live by faith; but if anyone draws back, My soul is not pleased with him.

In overflowing wrath I hid My face from you for a moment; but with everlasting kindness I will have mercy upon you, says Jehovah your Redeemer.

But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you, that He will not hear.

And there is no one who calls upon Your name, who stirs up himself to take hold of You. For You have hidden Your face from us, and have melted us away because of our iniquities.

And My anger will burn against them in that day, and I shall forsake them, and I will hide My face from them, and they shall be devoured. And many evils and troubles shall befall them, so that they will say in that day, Have not these evils come upon us because our God is not among us?

And I will conceal to hide My face in that day because of all the evil which they have done, in that they have turned to other gods.

And He said, I will hide My face from them, I will see what their end will be, for they are a perverse generation, children in whom is no faithfulness.

And the nations shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity; because they were unfaithful to Me, therefore I hid My face from them. I gave them into the hand of their enemies, and they all fell by the sword.

According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions I have dealt with them, and hidden My face from them.

Then they shall cry out to Jehovah, but He will not answer them. He will even hide His face from them at that time, because they have done evil in their doings.

Who among you fears Jehovah? Who obeys the voice of His Servant? Who walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of Jehovah and rest on his God.

And coming in that instant she gave thanks to the Lord, and spoke concerning Him to all those in Jerusalem who looked for redemption.

so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, without sin, unto salvation.
