Your watchmen shall lift up the voice! They shall lift up the voice together in a resounding cry; for they shall see eye to eye, when Jehovah brings Zion back.

His watchmen are blind; they are all ignorant; they are all dumb dogs who cannot bark, dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber.

And, according to the ordinance of David his father, he appointed the divisions of the priests for their service, the Levites for their charges, to praise and serve before the priests, as the charge of each day required, and the gatekeepers by their divisions at each gate; for thus was the commandment of David the man of God.

The watchmen who go about the city found me and I said, Have you seen him whom my soul loves?

The watchmen who went about the city found me. They struck me, they wounded me; the keepers of the walls took my veil away from me.

Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Listen to the sound of the shofar. But they said, We will not listen.

Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore hear the Word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me:

Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.

Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man that the righteous should not sin, and he does not sin, he shall live life because he took warning; and you have delivered your soul.

Son of man, speak to the children of your people, and say to them: When I bring the sword upon a land, and the people of the land take a man from their borders and make him their watchman,

then whoever listens to hear the sound of the shofar and does not take warning, if the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be on his own head.

But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the shofar, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any soul from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity. But his blood I will require at the watchman's hand.

When I say to the wicked, O wicked man, you shall die the death! and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand.

And God has placed some in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that works of power, then gifts of healing, helps, governings, tongues of nationalities.

And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,

for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ,

Obey those in authority over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.

For Zion's sake I will not be silent, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until its righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a burning lamp.

Before the throne there was a glassy sea, like crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back.

The four living creatures, each had six wings around, and were full of eyes within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!

Bring to My remembrance; let us enter into judgment together; declare yourself, that you may be justified.

For You said, I will do good to deal well with you, and make your seed as the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude.

And now, I beseech You, let the power of my Lord be great, just as You have spoken, saying,

Pardon the iniquity of this people, I pray, according to the greatness of Your mercy, just as You have borne this people, from Egypt even until now.

Remember Your congregation, which You have purchased of old, the scepter of Your inheritance which You have redeemed; this mount Zion in which You have dwelt.

Remember this, that the enemy has reproached, O Jehovah, and that the foolish people have blasphemed Your name.

And when he observed him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, lord? So he said to him, Your prayers and your alms have come up for a memorial before God.

and said, Cornelius, your prayer has been heard, and your alms are remembered in the sight of God.

And He said, Let Me go, for the dawn has risen. But he said, I will not let You go unless You bless me!

And behold, a woman of Canaan came from those borders and cried out to Him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is grievously demon- possessed.

But He answered and said, I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

But He answered and said, It is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the little dogs.

And He said to them, Which of you shall have a friend, and go to him at midnight and say to him, Friend, lend me three loaves;

and he will answer from within and say, Do not trouble me; the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give to you.

So I say to you, Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

If a son asks for bread from any father among you, he will not give him a stone, will he? Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a serpent instead of a fish, will he?

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him.

Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not faint,

And there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, Avenge me from my adversary.

yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, that she not weary me by her continual coming.

And shall God not avenge His elect who cry out day and night to Him, as He is patient with them?

pray without ceasing,

And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?
