But if the priest's daughter is a widow or divorced, and has no child, and has returned to her father's house as in her youth, she shall eat her father's food; but no stranger shall eat it.

And if a man eats of the holy things unintentionally, then he shall add a fifth part and give it to the priest with the holy thing.

They shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, which they offer unto Jehovah,
16
nor allow them to bear the iniquity of the guilt offering when they eat the holy things; for I, Jehovah, sanctify them.

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

Speak to Aaron and his sons, and to all the children of Israel, and say to them: Any man of the house of Israel, or of the sojourners in Israel, who presents his offering for any of his vows or for any of his freewill offerings, which they offer unto Jehovah as a burnt offering;
19
you shall offer of your own will a male that is whole from the cattle, from the sheep, or from the goats.
20
You shall not offer whatever has a blemish, for it shall not be acceptable for you.
21
And whoever offers a sacrifice of peace offerings unto Jehovah to fulfill his vow, or a freewill offering from the cattle or the sheep, it shall be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no blemish in it.
22
Those that are blind or broken or maimed, or have an ulcer or itch or scabs, you shall not offer unto Jehovah, nor make an offering by fire of them upon the altar unto Jehovah.
23
A bull or a lamb that has anything deformed or dwarfed you may offer as a freewill offering, but for a vow it shall not be accepted.
24
You shall not offer unto Jehovah what is bruised or crushed, or torn or cut; you shall not do it in your land.
25
Nor from a foreigner's hand shall you offer any of these as the bread of your God, because their corruption is in them, and blemishes are in them. They shall not be accepted for you.

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying:

When a bull or a sheep or a goat is born, it shall be with its mother seven days; and from the eighth day and onward it shall be acceptable as an offering by fire unto Jehovah.
28
However, with the cow or ewe, do not kill both her and her young on the same day.
29
And when you offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto Jehovah, offer it of your own will.
30
On the same day it shall be eaten; you shall leave none of it until morning: I am Jehovah.
31
Therefore you shall keep My commandments, and do them: I am Jehovah.
32
You shall not profane My holy name, but I will be treated holy among the children of Israel. I am Jehovah who sanctifies you,
33
who is bringing you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am Jehovah.
Ezra 1:7-11

King Cyrus also brought out the articles of the house of Jehovah, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought out of Jerusalem and had put them in the house of his gods;

and Cyrus king of Persia brought them out by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and counted them out to Sheshbazzar, the prince of Judah.

This is the number of them: thirty gold platters, one thousand silver platters, twenty- nine knives,
10
thirty gold basins, four hundred and ten silver basins of a second kind, and one thousand other articles.

All the articles of gold and silver were five thousand four hundred. All these Sheshbazzar took with the captives who were brought from Babylon to Jerusalem.
Ezra 8:25-30

and weighed out to them the silver, the gold, and the articles, the offering for the house of our God which the king and his counselors and his rulers, and all Israel who were present, had contributed.

I weighed into their hand six hundred and fifty talents of silver, silver articles weighing one hundred talents, one hundred talents of gold,
27
twenty gold basins worth a thousand drachmas, and two vessels of fine polished bronze, precious as gold.
28
And I said to them, You are holy unto Jehovah; the articles are holy also; and the silver and the gold are a freewill offering unto Jehovah, the God of your fathers.
29
Watch and keep them until you weigh them before the chief of the priests and the Levites and heads of the fathers of Israel in Jerusalem, in the chambers of the house of Jehovah.
30
So the priests and the Levites accepted the silver and the gold by weight and the articles, to bring them to Jerusalem to the house of our God.
