For Jehovah will comfort Zion; He will comfort all her waste places; and He will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of Jehovah. Joy and gladness shall be found in it, thanksgiving and the voice of melody.

I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake, and will not remember your sins.

For thus says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and consecrated place, even with the contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

For the iniquity of his covetousness I was angry and struck him; I hid Myself and was angry, and he went on backsliding in the way of his heart.

Jehovah is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?

His spirit departs, he returns to the earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

Many seek the ruler's favor, but man's justice comes from Jehovah.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.

But even if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods nor prostrate ourselves before the golden image which you have set up.

And do not fear those who kill the body but are not able to kill the soul. But rather fear Him who has power to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.

And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.

But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has authority to cast into Gehenna; yes, I say to you, Fear Him!

The voice said, Cry out! And he said, What shall I proclaim? All flesh is grass, and all the goodness of it is as the flower of the field.

You carry them away like a flood; they are like a sleep. In the morning they are like grass which grows up:

In the morning it blossoms and sprouts; in the evening it is cut down and dries up.

When the wicked spring up like grass, and when all the workers of iniquity blossom, it is that they may be destroyed forever.

As for man, his days are like grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourishes.

And then the wind passes over it, and it is gone, and its place is noticed no more.

but the rich in his humiliation, because as the flower of the field he will pass away.

For no sooner has the sun risen with a burning heat than it withers the grass; its flower falls, and its beautiful appearance perishes. Thus the rich man also will fade away in his pursuits.

because All flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls away,
