The streams have lifted up, O Jehovah, the streams have lifted up their sound; the streams lift up their waves.

The earth quakes before them, the heavens tremble. The sun and moon grow dark, and the stars withdraw their brightness.

And it shall be in that day, declares the Lord Jehovah, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the light of day.

And immediately after the affliction of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring;

men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

And I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood.

And the fifth angel poured out his bowl onto the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues because of the pain.

And they blasphemed the God of Heaven because of their pains and their sores, and did not repent of their deeds.
