Thus says Jehovah the Mighty God, He who created the heavens and stretched them out, spreading out the earth and its offspring; Who gives breath to the people on it and spirit to those who walk on it.

For thus says Jehovah who Created the heavens, God who has formed the earth and made it; who has established it, who has not created it void, but has formed it to be inhabited: I am Jehovah, and there is no other.

For in six days Jehovah made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore Jehovah has blessed the Sabbath day and consecrated it.

Of old You laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands.

And: You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the works of Your hands.

like a cloak You will fold them up, and they will be changed. But You are the same, and Your years will not fail.

Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and measured out the heavens with a span? And who has calculated the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?

It is He who sits upon the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in;

Have you spread out the clouds with Him, firm as a molten mirror?

Lift up your eyes on high, and consider who has created these things, who brings out their host by number. He calls them all by name by the greatness of His might, for He is strong in power; not one is missing.

LAMED: Forever, O Jehovah, Your Word stands firm in the heavens.

They have stood to this day according to Your ordinances, for they all are Your servants.

He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name.

Let them praise the name of Jehovah, for He commanded and they were created.

Praise Jehovah from the earth, you dragons and all the depths;
