From these the regions of the nations were separated into their lands, everyone according to their tongue, according to their families, into their nations.

Thus says the Lord Jehovah to Tyre: Will the coastlands not shake at the sound of your fall, when the wounded cry, when the slaughter is slain in your midst?

Then all the rulers of the sea will come down from their thrones, lay aside their robes, and take off their embroidered garments; they will clothe themselves with trembling; they will sit on the ground, tremble every moment, and be astonished at you.

The people have heard and are afraid; anguish has taken hold of the inhabitants of Philistia.

For we have heard how Jehovah dried up the water of the Red Sea for you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to the two kings of the Amorites who were on the other side of the Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom you utterly destroyed.

So it was, when all the kings of the Amorites who were on the west side of the Jordan, and all the kings of the Canaanites who were by the sea, heard that Jehovah had dried up the waters of the Jordan before the children of Israel until we had crossed over, that their heart melted; and there was no spirit in them any longer because of the children of Israel.

And those who dwell in the remotest regions are afraid of Your signs; You make the goings forth of the morning and evening rejoice.

Say unto God, How awesome are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies cower before You.

God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear Him.
