There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against Jehovah.

The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but deliverance is from Jehovah.

A wise man is strong; yes, a man of knowledge increases strength.

For by wise counsel you shall wage war; and in a multitude of counselors is safety.

Jehovah was with him; he prospered wherever he went. And he rebelled against the king of Assyria and did not serve him.

In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant for three years. Then he turned and rebelled against him.

So I answered them, and said to them, The God of Heaven Himself will prosper us; therefore we His servants will arise and build, but you have no portion or right or memorial in Jerusalem.

For although the anger of Jehovah was upon Jerusalem and Judah (until He had cast them out from His presence), Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.

But he rebelled against him by sending his ambassadors to Egypt, that they might give him horses and many people. Will he prosper? Will he who does such things escape? Can he break a covenant and still be delivered?
