Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign: Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bring forth a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel.

Take counsel and make plans, but they will be frustrated. Speak a word, but it shall not stand; for the Mighty God is with us.

Do not say, A conspiracy! to everything which this people calls, A conspiracy! And do not be afraid with their fear, nor be terrified.

And He shall be a sanctuary for you; but a stone of stumbling, and a rock of falling to both the houses of Israel; and a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder; and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Strong and Mighty God, The Eternal Father, The Prince of Peace.

Do not put your trust in princes, nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help.

Blessed is he who has the Mighty God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Jehovah his God,

And He shall stand and feed His flock in the strength of Jehovah, in the majesty of the name of Jehovah His God. And they shall dwell, for now He shall be great to the ends of the earth.

And this shall be peace. When Assyria shall come into our land, and when he shall tread in our palaces, then we shall raise against him seven shepherds and eight anointed men.

Awake, O sword, against My Shepherd, and against the Man who is My Associate, says Jehovah of Hosts. Strike the Shepherd and the sheep will be scattered. And I will turn My hand on the little ones.

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up in glory.

And my people shall dwell in a peaceful habitation, and in secure dwellings and in quiet resting places,

though it hails upon the forest, and the city is laid low.

And Jehovah will create over all the foundation of Mount Zion, and over her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory shall be a canopy.

And there shall be a booth for shade by day from the heat, and for a refuge and a shelter from storm and rain.

For You are a refuge to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a shelter from the storm, a shade from the heat, when the blast of the ruthless ones is like a storm against the wall.

Come, my people, enter into your rooms and shut your doors behind you; hide (as it were) for a few moments, until the indignation has passed.

For behold, Jehovah comes out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

Also I will make justice the measuring line, and righteousness the plummet; and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.

For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground. I will pour My spirit upon your seed, and My blessing upon your offspring;

You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from distress; You shall enclose me with shouts of deliverance. Selah.

Rescue me, O Jehovah, from my enemies; in You I have taken cover.

Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock;

And everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be likened to a foolish man who built his house on the sand;

Then the lame shall leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb shall sing. For in the wilderness waters shall break out, and streams in the desert.

And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land shall become springs of water, in the habitation of dragons where they dwell, a place for grass with reeds and rushes.

I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.

The beasts of the field shall honor Me, the dragons and the young owls; because I give waters in the wilderness, rivers in the desert, to give drink to My people, My elect.

On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.

And he showed me a pure river of Water of Life, clear as crystal, going forth out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

Extend Your ear to me; rescue me quickly; be my rock of refuge, a house of defense to deliver me.

For You are my rock and my fortress; therefore for Your great name lead me and guide me.
