But My covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah shall bear to you at this set time next year.

And Jehovah visited Sarah as He had said, and Jehovah did for Sarah as He had spoken.

For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.

Those who were full have hired themselves out for bread, and the hungry have ceased to hunger. Even the barren has borne seven, and she who has many children has become feeble.

And he cried out against the altar by the Word of Jehovah, and said, O altar, altar! Thus says Jehovah: Behold, a son, Josiah by name, shall be born to the house of David; and on you he shall sacrifice the priests of the high places who burn incense on you, and men's bones shall be burned on you.

And he said, At the appointed time according to the time of life you shall embrace a son. And she said, No, my lord. Man of God, do not lie to your maidservant!

He causes the barren to dwell in a house, like a joyful mother of children. Praise YAH!

Rejoice, O barren one, you who have not borne; break forth into screams of delight, you who have not writhed in pangs. For more are the children of the desolate than the children of the one who is married, says Jehovah.

But the angel said to him, Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.

But behold, you will be mute and not able to speak until the day these things take place, because you did not believe my words which will be fulfilled in their season.

Now behold, Elizabeth your kinswoman has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren.

A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she gives birth to the baby, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a person has been born into the world.

But when the time of the promise drew near which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt

Aaron shall be gathered to his people, for he shall not enter the land which I have given to the children of Israel, because you rebelled against My mouth at the waters of Meribah.

and strip Aaron of his garments and put them on Eleazar his son; for Aaron shall be gathered to his people and die there.

Moses stripped Aaron of his garments and put them on Eleazar his son; and Aaron died there on the top of the mountain. And Moses and Eleazar came down from the mountain.

And Jehovah said to Moses: Go up into this Mount Abarim, and see the land which I have given to the children of Israel.

For in the wilderness of Zin, during the strife of the congregation, you rebelled against My mouth to sanctify Me at the waters before their eyes. (These are the waters of Meribah, at Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.)

Then I besought Jehovah at that time, saying:

I pray, let me cross over and see the good land beyond the Jordan, those pleasant mountains, and Lebanon.

So Moses the servant of Jehovah died there in the land of Moab, according to the mouth of Jehovah.

Is there not warfare for man on earth? Are not his days also like the days of a hired man?

Since his days are determined, the number of his months is with You; You have appointed his limits, so that he cannot pass beyond it.

If a man dies, shall he revive? All the days of my service I will wait, until my change comes.

In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, came to him and said to him, Thus says Jehovah, Set your house in order, for you shall die and not live.

Go and say to Hezekiah: Thus says Jehovah the God of David your father, I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; behold, I will add to your days fifteen years.

Therefore they sought to take Him; but no one laid a hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come.

And as it is appointed for men to die once, and after this the judgment,

The Mighty God will likewise destroy you forever; He will take you away, and pluck you out of your tent, and has rooted you out of the land of the living. Selah.

And He fenced it, and cleared out its stones, and planted it with choice vines, and built a tower in its midst, and hewed out a winepress in it; and He looked for it to produce grapes, but it produced rotten grapes.

What more could have been done to my vineyard that I have not done in it? Why then, when I looked for it to yield grapes, did it yield rotten grapes?

Behold, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

The instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck it up; or to pull it down, and to destroy it;

And the instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and plant it;

Thus you shall say unto him, Thus says Jehovah: Behold, what I have built I will break down, and that which I have planted I will pluck up, even all this land.

He said to them, An enemy has done this. The servants said to him, Do you want us then to go and gather them up?

But he said, No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them.

The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all the stumbling blocks, and those who practice lawlessness,

But He answered and said, Every plant which My Heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted.
