He has made everything beautiful in its time; also He has set eternity in their hearts, so that no man can find out the work that God has made from the beginning to the end.

I know that there is no good for man, but to rejoice and to do good in his life.

And whatever my eyes desired I did not keep from them; I did not withhold my heart from any joy; for my heart rejoiced in all my labor, and this was my share from all my labor.

Then I looked on all the works that my hands had done, and on the labor that I had labored to do; and, behold, all was vanity and striving of spirit; and there was no profit under the sun.

Is it not good for a man to eat and drink and make his soul behold the good in his labor. This also, I saw, that it was from the hand of God.

Behold that which I have seen: It is good and right for one to eat and to drink, and to see good in all his labor that he labors under the sun all the days of his life, which God gives him; for it is his portion.

For he does not excessively dwell on the days of his life, because God keeps him busy in the joy of his heart.

Then I praised gladness, because a man has no better thing under the sun than to eat and to drink and to be glad; for that shall remain with him of his labor for the days of his life which God gives him under the sun.

Go, eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart; for God has already accepted your works.

Look on life with the wife whom you love all the days of your vain life, which He has given you under the sun, all the days of your vanity. For that is your share in this life, and in your labor which you labor under the sun.

Rejoice in your youth, young man; and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth, and walk in the ways of your heart, and in the sight of your eyes; but know that for all these things, God will bring you into judgment.

And there you shall eat before Jehovah your God, and you shall rejoice in all to which you have put your hand, you and your households, in which Jehovah your God has blessed you.

But you shall eat them before Jehovah your God in the place which Jehovah your God chooses, you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant, and the Levite who is within your gates; and you shall rejoice before Jehovah your God in all to which you put your hands.

and now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land which you, O Jehovah, have given me. And you shall set it before Jehovah your God, and bow down before Jehovah your God.

And you shall rejoice in every good thing which Jehovah your God has given to you and your house, you and the Levite and the sojourner who is among you.

Because you did not serve Jehovah your God with joy and gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things,

not slothful in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;

rejoicing in hope, patient in affliction, continuing steadfastly in prayer;

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say, rejoice!

Let your fairness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

For who knows what is good for man in life, all the days of his vain life which he spends as a shadow? For who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun?

For he does not know what shall be; so who can tell him when it shall be?

For man also does not know his time; as the fish that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falls suddenly upon them.

A fool also multiplies words; a man does not know what shall be; and who can tell him what shall be after him?

His sons come to honor, and he does not recognize them; they are diminished, and he does not perceive it.

And He said, Go your way, Daniel! For the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end.

Many shall be purified and made white and tested, but the wicked shall do wickedly. And none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.

But you, go on to the end, for you shall rest and stand for your inheritance at the end of the days.

Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
