And he taught me and said to me, Let your heart cling to my words; keep my commandments and live.

Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, just as Jehovah my God has commanded me, for you to do them in the midst of the land which you are going in to possess.

Only fear Jehovah, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.

And moreover, because the preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge. Yes, he pondered, and sought out, and set in order many proverbs.

Listen, for I will speak of excellent things, and from the opening of my lips shall be right things.

they are all plain to the one who understands; and right to those who find knowledge.

I walk in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of justice;

He restores my soul; He leads me in paths of righteousness because of His great name.

Make me know Your ways, O Jehovah; teach me Your paths.

Lead me in Your truth, and teach me; for You are the God of my salvation; upon You do I wait all day long.

and said, O full of all deceit and all mischief, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease perverting the right ways of the Lord?
