When you go, it shall lead you; when you sleep, it shall watch over you; and when you awake, it will speak with you.

I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and no one shall make you afraid; I will rid the land of evil beasts, and the sword shall not go through your land.

I lay down and slept. I awoke, for Jehovah sustained me.

I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; for You alone, Jehovah, make me dwell in safety.

Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who are asleep, that you sorrow not as others who have no hope.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
